What is SOLVIT?

SOLVIT is a service provided by national administration of each EU country, as well as those of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The service is free.

It operates mainly on the internet. Although there is a SOLVIT center in every country, the best way to contact them is through this website.

SOLVIT aims to resolve your case within 10 weeks from the date it was accepted by the SOLVIT center in the country where the problem arose.

When can SOLVIT intervene?

SOLVIT can help you if:

your rights as a European citizen or company based in the EU are not respected by public authorities in another EU country and
you have not (yet) opened a court action (we can help you instead if you have opened an appeal in administrative litigation).
