INFO on obligations of producers and distributors
According to Article 5(2) of Act No 245/2004 (r1) on general product safety, transposing Directive European directive 2001/95/EC :
"Where producers and distributors know or ought to know, on the basis of information in their possession and as specialists, that products which they have placed on the market or otherwise supplied to consumers present risks which are incompatible with the general safety requirements, they must immediately inform the competent authorities, under the conditions set out in Annex 1, specifying the action taken to prevent risks to consumers."
The submission of information to the ANPC will be done both by correspondence on paper (with the signature of the authorized person and the company stamp) and in electronic format according to the attached notification form (Romanian/English).

DANGEROUS PRODUCTS RECALL FORM
Hazardous product recall form
Under EU law, economic operators must ensure that the products they place on the market are safe. Traders who discover that one of their products is unsafe must take measures to prevent possible injuries and may even recall the product if it is already in the possession of consumers.
In this respect, po support economic operators when they publish a recall notice, the European Commission recommends using the following model form for dangerous products:
